Simon Tam was on his way to Inara’s shuttle after another long night with his sister River.She was his only family now, he alienated his mother and father after he left home to protect her. As a consequence he could never go home again. However he never regretted his choice, if he did not leave he would not have met the love of his life. His dark haired goddess smiled as he took her into his arms. With her he could forget the pain of his loss, remember only the good in life. With her he was truly home.
