I was reading through a review of Hansel & Gretel and came across this snippet at the end:
We’ve already had Snow White and the Huntsman, so how about a Sleeping Beauty in which the beauty in question has mad sleep fighting powers. Princess by day, unconscious fighting machines by night.

What if the reason that Sleeping Beauty is asleep for so long is because there's been a dream demon (or something like that) haunting the village/castle/group of people and the only way that anyone can kill it is to take it down in it's own plane of existence? She fails at first and is stuck in the dream world where she has to learn how to take on the dream demon and finally FINALLY kills the demon. After finding her true love also stuck in the dream world. Who needs true loves kiss when you have true love's right hook at your side?
Anyone want to finance a movie? *grins* I'm kidding... but I might write that idea.
