I never spell INCIDENTALLY right the first time around

Much thanks to inkvoices and sugar_fey for the comments over the last couple of days. I've given the WWII story a lot of thought (incidentally, the story is currently called This is the Army, Mr. Jones from the song by Irving Berlin - it's more ironic than a song fic for the lyrics) and have come up with a lot of thoughts on it.

There are two areas of the story that I've remixed. One is who Natasha is and her position in the military. I was going to bypass her Russian history but now I think I'm going to embrace it. This negates everything I've written so far but I don't mind because I'd rather have a good story than good words. This is going to make the narrative stronger once I get to the end of the story (a place I rarely venture before I start writing).

The other area is Clint and his disability. A deaf person can't serve in the US Military. I've thought long and hard about how I'm going to deal with this and I've decided to keep it in. BUT. But! I'm going to tweek everyone else. *grins* Just trust me! If you can believe that Steve survived the Super Soldier serum treatment and went from a puny nothing to the perfect soldier, I think you'll be able to believe that a deaf man is wearing a military uniform.

Why am I putting this here? Because I'm too lazy to type it out in the comment at the other post. I figure you'll both see this and then I'll have answered any of the questions that are still active there.

And if you can't tell it from this post - THANK YOU! The conversations have been insightful and interesting and helpful!
