A Weekend Well Spent

Today was birthday party day! Both my nephew (2 years old!) and my middle sister (35 years old!) had an Elmo birthday party. SO! MUCH! FUN! N's Elmo cake was made with red icing and M's pirate cake was made with dark-purple-so-dark-it's-black icing. Needless to say, we'll all be brushing our teeth a couple of times tonight

Kiddo loves the Mysterious Benedict Society. I've not read them myself, but if he is so picky with books that if he likes the series it must be good. lol

That is a very good recommendation! I can't believe that I'd never heard of them as I like to keep my finger on the pulse of that sort of fiction. I'm definitely going to pass these along to some of my little friends who will probably enjoy them, as well!
