Went and saw "The Blind Side" last night with my middle sister. It was her first time and my second. I can now say that the movie is EVERY BIT AS GOOD the second time as it was the first. There wasn't the tension of seeing it for the first time but there was still all the emotion! If you haven't seen it... GO SEE IT! And then watch a Raven's ( Read more... )

Did her bones hurt when people touched her? My bones are super sensitive when people touch me too hard. I've been taking the D though (because of you!) and haven't noticed the pain when people hug me wrong or the cat jumps on a part of me that miraculously doesn't have a huge padding of fat to protect me... Hmmm...

I'll have to ask her about the pain when she's touched. I know she was having pain but not what it was like. Next time you're in the doc's office, have them run a test on your Vitamin D. They recommend that for everyone but I'm not sure if I'm up for paying for a doctor's visit just for a test just yet. They can tell you how your Vit D level is so that you can gauge how much you need to take. I'm going back and forth between 1000, 2000 and 3000 because they say that a good dose for adults is around 2000 now. They keep bumping it up so I never know what is good. 400 (which used to be the high) isn't worth the time it takes to swallow the pills, they say. The higher doses are needed for any benefits. It could be helping you if you're getting enough of it... just don't want to overdose, though. It can be bad on that side, too. 3000 isn't anywhere near to overdosing, though. That's at like 40,000 or something like that ( ... )
