Kotoko, the PCDs work fine. Is there any way for you to hook yourself up to one and recharge that way?

Recharging through a PCD takes a great deal of time. I'd have to be connected to it at all times almost which would greatly hinder movement.

The event that altered age, personality, gender, and the ability to move from people lasted over a week. If this does to, you will lose power. Isn't that far more dangerous than just being unable to move much?
