another belated update.
The 22nd was ale's birthday and we had a day in paradise.
I woke up really early in the morning and made him breakfast: french toast, scrambled eggs with ham and cheese, and a couple of slices of spam. Yumm.. The good thing about all of this is that I'm treating him, but I'm also treating myself.. so needless to say, I made myself some of that breakfast too. And then at about 1045 we left his house and I drove us to surprise number one: venetian pool. It was excellent. I'm always telling ale that I want to take him some where he'd never been before and the good thing about this surprise is that he had never been there before, and actually, niether had I. So yea.. we spent a couple of hours at venetian pool.. and incase you've never been there before, let me describe it to you: It's in coral gables behind this old 1920's house. It's enormous complete with waterfalls and caves, it even has a little spot in the back with sand to lie down. So we were there for a couple of hours, and the day was really hot and really sunny. After a little while we had lunch at the cafe that's there. Then at 330 we left and drove over to surprise number two. Surprise number two was reservations at the astor hotel. It's a small hotel in miami beach right on washington ave and 10th st. It's very european and modern. The room was a jr suite with a huge king sized bed complete with feather pillows and a feather down comforter. It had an ultra modern beautifully huge bathroom, and a cute little living area with a pull out single bed and a love seat. We spent a couple of hours there, and while we were there I gave ale his surprise number four. You see I had planned to leave it for last.. but whatever. Surprise number four was a sexy sheer thong, and sex.. :) After surprise number four, and a shower in our master bath, we went to surprise number three which is a five star restaurant in south pointe miami beach, right on the water: Smith and Wollensky. We had filet mignon with crab meat and some fancy sauce. We each had a glass of merlot, and to top it off a huge piece of chocolate mouse cake.. which was free.. and huge. After the fantastically expensive meal, we walked back to the hotel to meet up with his brother and his sister in law, and a couple of friends. We had a few beers, and when they left we fell asleep to the sound of rain falling againts the windows. It was absolutely perfect!! I planned it so perfectly well, I'm so proud of myself.. and ale didn't even have to take out his wallet.. all expense paid trip to a brithday paradise. I'm sure it'll be a birthday he'll never forget.
So that was that..
Since then, ale and I have decided to move out together. We already bought an apartment we're just waiting for all the final arrangments to be made so that we can move in to our little love nest.
