Fun Fair!!

I had the best time tonight! I went to the county fair with Tom and Gina and we had a blast! Poor Tom, since he doesn't ride the rides (motion sickness), he ended up holding bags for Gina and I alot of the time. Still, we took a good 45 minutes to just walk around, watch the rodeo, and got gigantic ice creams to treat ourselves. Gina and I rode the zipper twice. That was by far and away the best damn ride there. My throat is still dry and scratchy after all that screaming. I know the Fair is really kind of rednecky but I still had a good time. Tell you what, though, I was shocked by how many girls were there dressed as though they should be going clubbing rather then to a county fair. There were girls in glittered tops, sequined bags, make-uped to a T. It was insane... I'm like is it really the thing to pick up your guy at the county fair? Probably, knowing this place! Still, I'm glad I went. I might try to make it again this week. Its expensive now, though! $5 to get in, $1 per ticket or $18 for 20 tickets and each ride costs 3 or 4 tickets. So that means with 20 tickets, you can ride five or six things and that's only if you're paying for yourself. I would hate to think of families going... A family of four would easily spend over $100 for one night at the fair. And that's not including food!

Ahh, the beauties of capitalism. And they even provide a nice dandy ATM now in one of the erected buildings... I think they had alot of surprised visitors with the new prices...
