Free day and Fair
Wow, look at that! I don't have to go in to work today! Yay!!! I'm gonna spend today lounging at my house, probably in the pool and reading. Basically, just relaxing! I've been working six day straight shifts so this is nice!
Something that greatly improved my mood the other night after I had written that sickening pity me post was a movie from out of my child hood arrived Friday, only a few days after I ordered it. Does anyone remember The Last Unicorn, the 1982 cartoon movie with the voices of Jeff Bridges as Prince Lir and Mia Farrow as the unicorn/Amalthea? I LOVED that movie as a child! I actually got to see the tapestries depicted in the opening credits at the Cluny museum in Paris the last time I was there, "La Dame et La Licorne" (The Lady and the Unicorn). They are so impressive in person... But anyway, I watched that movie, which made me laugh and remember being a stupid little child and I felt loads better. See? All i needed was a kick in the butt... even if it came from my past!
I'm off to the Cecil County Fair tonight with Tom and Gina. It should be a very good time. I havn't been to the fair in AGES! I remember that it was alot of fun, even if it is really hickish. Good old Cecil County... NOT!
