"The End"

Again with the creative titles. Just...ugh.

Anyway, I thought this episode was quite good. At the same time, I felt it was ultimately pointless - kinda like last episode - because EVERYone agreed that Past!Dean would never say yes to Michael. Future!Dean knew it, and so did Zachariah, yet they dragged him around the future anyway. That being said ( Read more... )

Hey, the song the ep is named for is awesome. Even though I don't think they played it. Also, I have a question; when they first met Chuck, doesn't Cas say something about how in the future, Chuck's writings will be known as 'the gospel of winchester' or something like that? Wouldn't that indicate that there have to be people around to CALL it the gospel of winchester? Or is Lucifer's master plan to somehow repopulate the planet with...humans 2.0? Or was Cas wrong? I am confused.

(Also...I'm sorry to nitpick, but it wasn't a pleasant *sight*. Not site.)

There's an actual song? I figured it was called "The End" because, you know...it was.

I think according to the angel's original plan, to help start the Apocalypse, then defeat Lucifer and make paradise on Earth, they would need a new Bible to keep the survivors in line, I guess. So that's why they had Chuck to write about the Winchesters, for life after all the destruction. Lucifer has nothing to do with establishing any sort of new gospel. And seeing how it seems the angels just gave up on establishing paradise, they had no more need for Chuck or his books.

(I'm sure there are multiple grammar and spelling errors in the above paragraphs. Still not gonna fix it :P)

Okay. I kind of get it. Maybe.

The angels blow. Seriously. Not that we didn't already know that, but still. Whole new levels of suck.
