The character's name is Ezhno, he is a Mesohippus, one of the ancestors of the modern horse.
Both inked and colored version. Done on Printmaking paper (BFK Reeves, I think) making use of one of the scraps I have. Color was added with watercolors, some of it rather wetly and I'm quite happy with how the paper held up. The piece has a slight bend to it, but not what I might have expected. I think I might do more of this.
Rode Ruby around the neighborhood. Saw "The Mummy" with Chris, and now we're off to dinner with an old friend of mine and his girlfriend at the California Pizza Kitchen (mmm, pizza).
