It's July!
ArtFight has begun!
I'm actually really surprised I finished my first one yesterday, but it helps that it pretty much corresponded with my weekend.

First layer of color.
Starting to think about shadows.
Had an "O crap" moment when I added the shadows, they were very purple. Took a breath and soldiered on.
It turned out pretty well! The character is based on a Goodfellow's Tree Kangaroo. Marsupials for the win.
My personal side goals included:
*Complete at least four pieces
*Draw things I don't usually draw
*Focus on characters with little to no art
*Focus on artists who give more than they receive
I was able to get the inks done on the second one yesterday.
And I started to build the palette and threw a little color on it today.
We'll see how far I get tomorrow with it.
