Schreiben, malen, und andere Sachen

I need to get going on my next one, but I'm allowing myself to be distracted by running through "Depths of the Forge" (book two in my trilogy-in-progress) so I can print out fresh copy. The current physical copy in my notebook is 65 pages and I think the computer document is starting to push 80, or it probably will once I get through this run. I do have to do a lot of clean-up, there's some rambly author notes in there and I need to beat the plot into better shape and decide if leaving Alast is the end of it or if we follow him to Lunais and see what happens there. It's up in the air!
In other news, did I mention Draego is actually three? He's a month younger than Zeke. He's been lame off and on, which sucks. The trailer ride made him pretty sore on his left hind, but with some bodywork and messing with it helped and he did much better for the farrier last week. Then he was tender-footed. Our assumption is his feet got hot, but a couple days later he was a little puffy on gis right front tendon, but a couple days in boots helped so I don't know! Poultice it is!
In still other news The 2022 World Percheron Congress is going on right now and they're streaming it on YouTube. Check it out! Draego's breeder is there (Silver Oak) and the owner of Crossfire whom we bred Talon to is also there (Fedor farms).
