C managed to snap a picture of Ruby doing her pre-ride stretch.
I love it, makes me smile every time.
Ruby has come along nicely since I started working with her a year ago January. She now leg-yields and does shoulder-in walk and trot and can alternate fairly smoothly between them. Her haunches-in at the walk is getting better, we can do a few steps on the rail. The walk to canter transitions are getting smooth and prompt, which feels awesome and I have been using her to work Cordelia, C's still feral mustang mare. We keep getting closer and being able to touch her should happen soon then we can finally get her tag off and that manky old halter, and then it is getting her feet able to be handled so she doesn't have to be sedated for a trim.
