I've been painting like mad.
The white dun was finished.
And then I painted MOAR!
I mixed a fair color on the red dun and started painting away.
I got it "finished," but it was a bit on the red side.
I thankfully managed to fix it without having to completely repaint it, which made me very happy!
Mare accomplished Saturday and I moved on to the foal yesterday.
Some shading and the space around it tidied up.
Tack and rider begun today!
Rider finished and I also fixed the foal's neck, which was a bit dark to begin with.
Fancy blanket on the brown dun and the saddle starting to take shape.
TOOLING!
Saddle finished (may go back and add some dark bits to the metal, but essentially!). The tooling is Rosemalen-inspired, which is a type of Norwegian folk-painting.
And the whole thing in context. I finally gave the sitting cowboy his hands too. They gave me some fits, but I think they are now passable. I also gave the red dun ita bridle sometime in there.
The only things I have left are halters for the horses and the harnesses for the grey and white dun. I'll be finishing it tomorrow if it is the last thing I do! Between lessons I should have the time for it, but if not I'll be staying up late because it is going to the printers WEDNESDAY so it can be processed and I don't have to worry about it anymore.
It's been a big project and I should have charged way more, but lesson learned for next time, right?
