But Wait, There's More!

There is apparently an additional 25 foot "visibility triangle" that needs to be on the corner. This visibility triangle has to comply with the future 15 foot set back that may never happen on the West side. Because, you know, a five foot tall post and top rail fence is such an hinderance to visibility.

The MCDOT person sent us two options, either taking it diagonally across and nixing the pedestrian gate we were going to out there or cut diagonally to where the 15 foot additional set back is and then go straight across. Choosing the second option to save the gate.

They just informed us of this this morning. I wonder if I had managed to make it to the office yesterday if they would have approved it or kicked it back again.

HOLY COW IT IS JUST A FIVE FOOT FENCE!

We will still be starting the East side realignment on the 20th regardless of the permit status.

As Mom noted to the MCDOT person: "This is why everyone else DOESN'T get permits for their projects!"

This should be way easier than it is.

Oh, the third option is to make the fence two or three feet tall in the corner. Containing horses? Not happening.

county crap
