Madame Oubliette (aka Darth Katie) allowed me to skritch and pet her for a full ten minutes last night, and there was PURRING. \0/ The first time I've ever heard her purr! But Darth Katie has come out of the bedroom, played with Domino, engaged in prey-watch at the patio door, and has now climbed up into the other recliner and curled up. This is the first time she's done this with me in the room. It's a small step, but a step. Now when she stops running every time I stand up, I will know we're making progress. :) She ( Read more... )

She's spending much more time out here in the living room, playing with her litter-mate, eating from the communal crunchy bowl, and even exploring the concept of furniture. She still runs when I stand up, but she'll play quite happily a few feet away from me while I'm sitting watching TV or on the laptop, and no longer needs the lights off to ( Read more... )
