Lanithro simulation:

Essay. Sleep. Read. Cough in utterly disgusting manner. Essay. Translation. Read. Sleep. Essay.

Shuffle, and put on repeat. Inteject the occasional “Woe is me!” in your best ‘petulant’ tone for added verisimilitude.

Additionally:

Willa Cather is a load of bollocks. If I wanted to read 350 pages about breakfasts and fields and the countryside, I’d have read The Wind in the Willows. I don’t know what the big deal is about- and don’t get me wrong, I wish I did know, as I might have something to write about it then. If I’d just gone for the Shakespeare’s Histories module instead, I wouldn’t be having to read about how pretty the stupid corn is in Nebraska.

Something which is quite good, in contrast, is Blood+. Despite a bit of a boring second episode, the third episode is almost as good as the first one. Big major stuff happens which sort of fits into the themes of the Blood:tLV film. How on earth are they going to get 52 episodes out of this?

slice of life, books, complaining petulantly
