A POD-FIC ohmygoodness. (Also, it feels drafty in this room.)
OMG. I am so obsessed with podfic suddenly, I don't even know what happened. But then I tried it and bam I am obsessed, because walking around with a story in my head is no different from walking around with pods in my ears.
It also feels like a return to the past; the oral culture of story telling which writing really is made of after all. And that's all I'm learning about when I'm translating ancient greek and digging up the earth and visiting museums and emerging from tomes and tomes of pages of books about a largely illiterate culture, and isn't that ironic after all?
And so naturally the first thing I had to was record one of my own.
Since it's my first podfic, I figured the best way to start off is with trying to record my own fic - and honestly I don't think of my voice as being quite good enough for anyone's fic but my own, ha-ha. And I just wanted to do one, quickly enough, to see what it's look.
Plus it was fun. And I always felt that this one fic deserved to be a story.
So here we go~~ it's only rough-drafty but i'm excited all the same.

Looks like my computer is too retarded to actually compress the folderon its own into a zip file. Lol- that's too bad, then.
