I'm playing catch up.

First:
Moved into the house I'm housesitting/renting for the next year or so.  And it's fabulous.  Big and empty and MINE ALL MINE YAY.  No one cooks me dinner anymore, but no one fights me for the remote, either.  And I now have cable internet, which means that I'm online.  A lot.  Did I mention that it's right on the river?  ( Read more... )

Quick update:

- Went to Jeremy's poetry slam at UMF last night, and got to be THE MEAN JUDGE.  Cause, really, the poets all sucked.  Sorry kids.

- Finally gave in and bought Jasper Fforde's The Eyre Affair after reading the Book Shop's copy tennish times.  Am going to promptly order all the sequels from the stupid people selling theirs for cheap on ( Read more... )

Christmas was fabulous, even though it was warm enough that we actually ended up grilling steak outside for Christmas dinner.  The steak was good, but there's something very wrong about that...  I got the fourth season of West Wing, and spent today supremely happy while watching the first five episodes.  (On a even dorkier note, ( Read more... )

I wish there had been a new Gray's Anatomy on tonight.  Or any West Wing.  I miss John Spencer, and they still have some of the episodes he filmed left to air.
