Comment with a theme, and I'll make you a music mix. Like, music to listen to while eating nachos. Or something less lame. (Other examples: music for a wedding sabotage. music for the end of the world in a subtle way. music for walking to class in rain or snow, knee-deep and pissed off.)
And:
Comment to this post with a subject for a top 5 (ships, songs, non-canon ships, etc...whatever) you would like to see me post about (with pictures), and I will post it soon.
Fire away!
Krasinski's a Red Sox fan! I thought they were playing tomorrow morning for some reason (no, really, you can check my post about their first game, I talk about watching Lester pitch on Thursday), so I slept through the game until my mother texted me in the 9th. And you know what? They lost. I have to watch every freaking game now, because we've set a precedent. It kind of worked out okay, though, because my brother came over for dinner, and we got to watch a replay and debate who sucks more: Barry Bonds or Roger Clemens. (hint: it was a tie.)
Somewhat relatedly: I'm reading The Dreyfus Affair, a novel about a major league shortstop who suddenly realizes he's in love with his second baseman. It looks like it's going to be a ton of fun.
I made the
Better Than Olive Garden Alfredo Sauce for dinner, and it came out really well. Needs some tweaking - I had to kind of freehand the serving size increase, and I don't think I let it sit long enough after adding the mozzarella - but it was very tasty.
I'm kind of in love with Jon and Kate Plus Eight, with all the tiny identical children running around. And the parents who seem like real people, and not creepy saints (I'm looking at you, Duggars). And, um, if Casey and Derek ended up married and accidentally had eight kids, they'd probably be a lot like Jon and Kate.
I'll ask again, because I didn't get much interest the first time: anyone want to sign up for a pressure free fantasy baseball league?
