Merry Christmas, Happy Hanaka, and Whatever goes in front of Kwanzaa,
How’d mine go? Well considering, mine was actually pretty good. On Christmas Eve my father’s family came over for the gift exchange that always happens about this time. It was actually quite funny, it was a pretty good family gathering think. My mom had some of the presents under the tree, or at least around it, there were so many that they couldn’t fit under the darn thing, would have broken its plastic bristles. I was thinking that all those presents was it, but I was watching TV at around 3-4amish, and my mom starts bringing even more presents. It literally took her 2-3 trips to bring all the presents in the living room. Ive never seen so many presents for one person. My lil sister took over an hour just to open all of the presents, and my sister is a speed demon when it comes to the present department. I actually didn’t get a present for Christmas (Poo!), or at least not one from my parents. Staying in the Christmas spirit Id like to think that maybe its because I stayed up when Santa was making his rounds, and just decided to forget me because I was still awake, he does know when your sleeping and knows when your awake (Freakin Stalker!!, I think next year Im gonna file a restraining order for next holiday season, Im very territorial with my privacy…*^) Well I guess I didn’t get any presents from my family, my lil sister got me this key chain in a shape of a football, its really heavy. I got her a couple bracelets this year. I figured that my mom would get all the expensive stuff, so I was determined to find a gift that was under 5$, and Booh! Yeah! I did. I hear that theres this crazy rule that states that parents don’t get presents (Err!!), but I guess somehow my father and mother still got presents, I think theres a lue-pole I haven’t thought of yet.
Well anyways, me, my brother, his wife, my mom, lil sister and dazhian went up to Sumner to visit with my Uncle Georgie (the ie is pronounced as if it were a y, might not make sense anyways). The cool thing about when Georgie comes down to visit is that I always hope that he brings my cousins Jeremy and Holly. I haven’t seen Holly and Jeremy in years upon years, and I hoped that they came. They come every year in order to see their real dad Dean. I was pleasantly greeted by both of them, score!! (so maybe Santa didn’t strike on everything) It was fun, plus I got their emails, and might plan to visit them or something like that sometime during a weird break or so. I still think theres something weird about the bond those two share, in a weird kind of way really (think, you’ll get what Im talking about hmm?), cause they both say that they hope to find someone exactly like each other (and other stuff like that).
When I got to my brother’s he gave me two presents, I was stoked! They were two DVDs that I really love. The first one was ‘Finding Forrester,’ which is one of my favorite movies of all time. The second was from this poetry series that I love on TV, and Ive been trying to get a copy of it. It was Def Poetry Jam season 2, Im still needing season 1 and 3, and whatever crazy seasons are out there. My brother is the best like that.
So in conclusion I guess you can say that my Christmas wasn’t half bad. Although my parents not getting me a present this Christmas (along with birthday) was enough for my Pooh type urges to give an “Oh Botha!”, but remember, Pooh bear wasn’t without his honey, and sometimes the honey tastes that much better. Yeah it’s a weird metaphor, and for all those that don’t know what Im talking about, I curse you!! And feel sorry for your youth… hehe
Happy Holidays!!
RSVP (which I still don’t know what that means, but its no hurry if that’s what it means 8^).
Love You!!
