zomg  college!!!

I was really irritated and upset yesterday after I found out that I had misunderstood (or perhaps the 'rents had changed their mind) what my mother had meant when she had explained to me how the finances were going to work when we moved. My understanding, initially, was that she was going to pay for our rent. Period. All of it. But yesterday, she explained that she would be paying for MY portion of the rent, and Codie and Brandon would be responsible for their portions. Sooo... that kind of threw out the whole three-bedroom plan, as that's a bit pricey for an initial settlement into Denton. (At least, I think so.)

But, the more I think about it, and the more I look at these properties on Craigslist and through realtor websites, the more excited I am!! Codie just said the simple phrase, "we can make it work. We can do it," and I knew that we could. :3 God, I love that boy. So, I'm really confident now that we can manage it. And it's exciting, the idea of us all working together and managing to keep up our lifestyle and budgetting and... argh, I'm just so ready to have fun with it!

For the next week (today until Friday), I'll be in Denton looking at apartments and houses. :3 I can't wait!! I found several well-priced two-bedroom rent houses that are all pretty old (built anywhere from 1938 to 1983) that I'm hoping will have that old-house architectural charm. Mom and Dad want me to keep a budget for this trip, which is no problem, and it'll be interesting to see how much I'll be spending on a week-long trip like this.

Now, I just need to pack! >_< Funtimes. (Here's hoping we get on the road before late o'clock!)

Oh! I also got my transcript sorted out. For some reason, when we tried to send it a couple weeks ago, it didn't go through and UNT sent me a letter that said they didn't have it (along with my class rank, which I can't get until the end of the school year ><). So, I went back up to my highschool and chatted with the counselor (whom I love), and called up UNT (and spoke to a really, really nice lady!!), and she got me all sorted out! Told me they still didn't have it, but gave me the CORRECT address to send it to. (For some reason, the office lady at school was off by one number with the address she had?) Here's hoping it actually gets sent. :D But slfdnkmlsnkf I have to wait until highschool is out to find out if I got accepted or not?!!? *fume*

*still excited*

*hyped up on tea; aka, the cause of my insomnia* 8D nyaaarrrr

college, life
