I understand it's really cool that a guy is having a baby, but when he was on Oprah today, Oprah kept acting like every man everywhere is going to start popping out babies tomorrow. Not to be too crude, but it really helps that homeboy was born with the prerequisite equipment for carrying a child and chose to go through his transition the way he specifically did. Even though all it honestly boils down to is a novelty situation that will get people talking about a lot of issues from reproductive rights to tg issues, I think it's really going to get to a point that it bothers me if it gets too much bigger of a story. I don't want to drag Thomas back into his former life, but this isn't a situation that wouldn't be happening otherwise, and, especially on Oprah, that's something that was virtually ignored.
Otherwise, I'm really hoping there are no complications and they are able to lead good life after all this media attention dies down.
