Library reading

Here's one thing I'll be reading. The other one still requires a little more editing.

Lay Me Down

Lay me down in simple stillness.
Bring my back against
the earth.

Hear wrens
in amber light,
calling to their kin.

In silence,
daylight washes into dark.
I count myself

most blessed.
The world unfolds without me,
without my hands to crank the clock.

Lay me down, lay me down in simple silence.
Let me count my years on toes and fingertips.
They are blessings blown through wind,

The finite taste of endless bliss.
