Diana Costume art practice
So, I'm goofing off and practicing drawing Diana and I remember some of the talk that aylara had on her LJ a few weeks ago about the nature of Wonder Woman. Talk was made about the costume and how it needs changings. I'm pretty sure that ruckawriter or Gail Simone said that he tried to talk to DC about changing the costume and they said flat out no.
Still, in pendant we have the liberty to do whatever the fuck we want. For instance: I might start drawing Cassie in her red leather pants and red v-pointed middrift shirt from Titans V3 issues 1 through whenever Superboy died. Why? cause I really dont like the jeans/teeshirt combo and think it's out of character for Cass, especially in a universe where Superboy has never (And will never sad face) exist. Earth P Cass filled in for Wonder Woman for 3 months while Diana was with the Army, and she did much better than Tim did in the 3 days he was sans Batman.
So I started doodling and wound up with something like a paperdoll.
Incidentally, all the red pieces on top of each other looks like this, which I rather liked:
