I really like how the side bindings spell out "ZAC" ^_^ And the bar of black denoting which book it is in the series is a nice contrast to the blues- helps to bring out the black in each.
Over, VERY nice looking set. ^_^
Congratulations. I bet you were bouncing around after opening that! So when should we expect to have access to buying them ourselves? (Always willing to support friends and fellow young writers. To be honest, I learned your name from another published writer who's one of my best friends.) Anyway, so happy for you! ^_^
Thank you *grin* Dude, I LOVE the way the publishing company did the covers this time around...I HATED PA, but I love this set. And yeah, for exactly the reasons you stated (although I must say I came up with the "ZAC" thing).
Yes, I was definitely bouncing--still am, really. I made the Father cry when he read the dedication in the third one.
And yep, they should be up on amazon.com shortly. And who'd you learn my name from, if you don't mind me asking?
Her name's Amy. You might know her as Amelia Atwater-Rhodes though. I was over her house when she got your book originally, and she mentioned having hunted it down because you hadn't pestered her to get it, someone else had mentioned it in passing. She moved to another house last year and when I was over after her office had been re-set up, I saw PA again, on her shelf and asked about it. She said she hadn't gotten around to reading it, but I thought I might try to see what you were like as a person. I've been hapyp with the results of that ^_^ I WAS planning on borrowing PA from her, but once I saw you working on the new versions, figured it'd be worth my time to wait.
Ooh, sure, I've heard of her--read one of her books once. I'm not entirely sure WHICH one, 'cause I've seen all the titles and whatnot--maybe the Demon one? Something about a girl who writes books under a pseudoname, finds out she's the daughter of a vampire. I'll have to check some of her other stuff out. Hmm.
And if you talk to her anytime soon, tell her NOT to read PA--I'll send her a set of the trilogy and she can go ahead and throw PA out. >.< I'll send you a free set as well, if you'd like. :o) I still feel bad about being a bitch to you in the beginning.
Yeah, that sounds like Demon in My View. Not her best work, in my opinion. The books she's releasing now are a MILLION times better than the first three (I like the 4th book, but because I really like the more mature series that a lot of characters made their debut in when she was writing them. They're not published yet
( ... )
I'll definitely have to check out her new stuff then--and yes, we can book swap, that sounds like fun! *grin* That's what paranoidkitten and I do. Speaking of, I owe her a set, too...hmm
