that's my soul up there

I took up Anna Karenina again. I'm halfway through it and thoroughly convinced it could have been at least two hundred pages shorter. The scene in which Kitty and Levin finally make up their minds to be together is beautiful, but mostly I keep thinking, oh good, now maybe he will stop talking about farming.

I always picture Dianna Agron as Kitty.

As for the Golden Globes, do the same people/shows win every single year or what? I was underwhelmed for the most part. Highlights included Joshua Jackson's smile, the win for Glee, a Globe for the Dude, and surprise! Paul McCartney.

There are tentative plans in place for me to go with my dad, sister, and my sister's fiancé to a hockey game at the end of March, potentially Leafs vs. Panthers. I'm excited, but anxious about leaving the kids. Scott will be here, and Sebastian will be fully weaned by then (he is down to nursing twice a day now, obviously with formula supplemented and extra snacks), but I have never been away from them for more than a few hours at a time. It is really hard for me to think of being apart from them.

This is a gorgeous gorgeous cover.
