Today I stole a meme from chester_bnngton.

Which bands/artist do you own the most albums by?
If we're talking the actual albums, then the answer is The Tea Party. If we're talking albums in electronic form, then the answer is probably The Beatles, but I'm not entirely sure. iTunes 7 and I aren't speaking and Winamp is a bit of a pain when it comes to organizing data and figuring that kind of stuff out.

What was the last song you listened to?
CCR - "Up Around the Bend"

What's in your CD player right now?
There's nothing in my CD/DVD tray right now.

What's your favorite local band/group?
I believe they have since renounced their humble beginnings (and, come to think of it, parted ways), but The Tea Party is a local group, and yes, I love them.

What was the last show you attended?
The Canada Day Festival at Parliament Hill, July 2005.

What was the greatest show you've ever been to?
I think I have yet to attend what I'd call "the greatest show I've ever been to". We'll wait and see on that one.

What's the shittiest show you've ever been to?
*shrugs*

What show are you looking forward to?
Bob Dylan, natch.

What is your favorite band shirt?
I ♥ my brown The Beatles-Let it Be shirt.

What musician would you like to hang out with for a day?
Hehe. What a fun question. I can't decide. David Bowie or Tori Amos or Ringo Starr. Or Bob Geldof maybe, just because I love his voice, so we could talk about whatever and it would always sound beautiful.

Name one musician or group you wish would make a comeback.
Moist.

What is one band/artist you've never seen live but always wanted to?
Paul McCartney.

Name five of your favourite songs of all time.
Tricky.
1. David Bowie - "Ziggy Stardust"
2. John Lennon - "Instant Karma! (We All Shine On)
3. The Beatles - "Let it Be"
4. The Beatles - "Here Comes the Sun"
5. Live - "Pillar of Davidson"

Name five of your favourite songs of right now.
1. Leonard Cohen - "Famous Blue Raincoat"
2. The Who - "Substitute"
3. Mott the Hoople - "All the Young Dudes"
4. Rufus Thomas - "Walking the Dog"
5. Cat Stevens - "The Wind"

Name five flawless albums:
1. David Bowie, The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars
2. The Beatles, The Beatles (White Album)
3. Bob Dylan, Blonde on Blonde
4. David Usher, Little Songs
5. Gah. I can't decide.

How many music related videos/DVDs do you own?
Quite a few. I'd count them but they're all packed away.

How many concerts/shows have you been to, total?
Three, I think. That's not counting musicals. Was I supposed to count musicals? *chuckles* POTO, Guys & Dolls, Sweeney Todd (seriously fucked up). Three musicals.

Who have you seen the most live?
I've never been to more than one show by one particular artist.

What is your favourite movie soundtrack?
Velvet Goldmine.

What was your last musical "phase" before you snapped out of it?
I don't think I go through musical "phases", but I do have a weird sort of love for Justin Timberlake's "SexyBack". I think I like it so much because the four SYTYCD finalists did what I thought was a pretty hot dance to it on the performance finale.

What's your "guilty pleasure" that you hate to admit to liking?
I have a few Britney Spears tracks stored in my Winamp media library. Mindless dance-able stuff.

What album have you purchased the most copies of?
Why would I buy more than one copy of an album?

Who is your favourite musician?
I have more than one favourite, damn it. I refuse to choose just one.

P.S.
Last.fm is fantastic. And now I want to listen to Little Songs but it's packed away in a box somewhere. Damn it.

I've been thinking (daydreaming, more like) about going back to school. Because I'm a masochist who wants to be poor for another four years or so, apparently. UWO has a one year MA in Journalism program that looks interesting, but that isn't the type of thing you can do online and we're not planning on moving to London any time soon. The most promising Windsor option, I think, is Environmental Studies. If I start next year I can qualify as a mature student. Heh. And I think that may mean I get a discount or something, or it should at least. Frequent Student Miles! Anyway, it's just something I've been mulling over. We'll have to see how our financial situation is once we get into the house and I start working. It's impossible, probably, or damned near impossible, so the first step is deciding that I definitely without a doubt want to do it.
