flat tax
so, considering that the 2008 fiscal year budget was set at about $2.5 trillion, and for the sake of argument lets just say all 300 million of us living in the US paid our taxes, having a flat tax would require all Americans to pay... $8,333.33 in taxes, a year... wow, but I think I heard something like there's only 160 million that file their tax returns annually, so let's adjust above number and now we get... $15,625 annaully... fuck, I can understand how Republicans make $1 million+ a year want this, but how can all those $40K/year Joe The Plumbers afford this... oh wait, will they still not pay their taxes even with a flat tax?
