Gravity is put together quite well in terms of pacing, and it ends exactly where it needs to end. However, it left me with some questions that will never get answered...

Just want to talk about Gravity for a little bit here.

Visually: Spectacular. We saw this in (real) IMAX 3D, and it was worth every penny. There are very few movies where I feel like you can legitimately say that (maybe Avatar, except story-wise it was kind of shit). The effects are great, and each shot is framed beautifully. I saw Star Trek Into Darkness on Wednesday. 3D RPX screening at Regal, for the record. We saw Looper on Sunday. I enjoyed it about as much as I expected, which is to say, I enjoyed it immensely. I think I preferred The Dark Knight movie, because it had Heath Ledger's Joker and a plot I found hard to predict. Saw the Ace Attorney movie yesterday. I think it was a great video game movie, but as a movie-movie it was lacking in parts. The second half felt slow and dragged on, and I suspect it might be confusing to some people who haven't played the game.
