Actually, I can't speak about myself neither as strictly 8059 nor 5980 supporter. I think that in every relationship it goes both ways, depending on time and situation, and you can't tell about someone being completely uke or seme at all. And when it comes to sex, well, both 5980 and 8059 have their delicious kinky perks. I honestly think that both variations are passable - the main point is that they should remain themselves. So breaking(stretching I can tolerate) their personalities is not an option. It may have something to do with the fact that 8059 are my first yaoi OTP. It's not that I defied it as a concept, I just wasn't interested in offered yaoi couples in my previous fandoms. You know how it works - you acknowledge a pairing, but it's simply not your piece of cake. I must feel chemistry to get in. With yamagoku, it sparked, and I was done for. And now, develop that thought. When I firstly encountered the fandom, it was new to me - even if I had a rather big experience with OTPs, yaoi one was an entirely new thing. I approached fanfiction with great caution and with zeal, but, actually, it rather mesmerized me than freaked out. 8059’s fanfiction fanbase is a living miracle for me. I haven’t seen such astonishing works - and a whole lot of them - with any of my previous het favorites. Eventually, I moved to djs - actually, rather accidentally, and was shocked at their quantity and, half the time, quality. But yes, some of them made me go all WTF. I’m rather flexible to plots, but some of them are really shitty. And OOC-ness - it makes you nearly vomit into your mouth a little. Yak. Porn, as you could probably see already, for me is not necessary, but desired when available. I just don’t mix it with story - plot to the left, smut to the right, and move on about it. But the fact is that I can’t do this when porn is OOC, and THAT is a problem. So, I totally see your point. Hahaha, I love “Nalismoto” and “Nalisdera”, may I steal them for further use? )))) I’m currently downloading the anthology and will pay extra attention to the story you’re talking about. Personally I prefer 8059 over 5980. Somehow I can't imagine Gokudera being seme. Although he has strong personality, he hides the fact he still misses his mother and wants somebody who can take care of him. Because he's alone and sometimes does stupid things he needs someone like Yamamoto to stop him from self destruction. For me even if Hayato is seme in life, Takeshi is seme in bed. Lame excuse is lame xd
When it comes to fanfics, doujinshi etc I think there are hella lot of them 'cause it's YAOI. I've never been interested in any het pairing to look for fics with it but I think it's a little difficult when 80% of fandom are crazy yaoi fangirls. 8059 is also one of the most popular pairings in KHR (8059, 5927, D18) so that's why people are writing so many stories with them. I'm surprised that most of fics with YamaGoku are written at least well and there are so many masterpieces among them. I considered doing entry with recommendations but.. reading again those 300 or more fics will be tiresome.. Still my fav one is crack about Gokudera eating cold pizza and watching sumo on tv. Sorry if you've already read it -_- Sometimes I wonder why all those doujinkas can't ask any writer to make good script for them. If Nalis did it her doujins would be much more interesting (even with her lame pron and characters looking like columns).
If 8059dj won't add you in the nearest time I can upload froggy's 'arashiame' on mediafire or sth. Do you have 'Serenata' or should I upload it too? I don't know where I found it.. I suck (lol we both suck, should we establish a club? xd)
