Mark played tonight at work for the first time, ever.

It was great, and we had a decent amount of people there, actually. Most of them said they are definitely coming back next week and bringing friends, so YAY.

And, I made money, which is always good!

So, someone called in a little favor for me at city hall. This lady I know spoke with the courts director and he called the municipal court judge and anyhow, all these freaking parking tickets I had...taken care of. So, we got the apartment on the other side of Hamilton Park, which I'm happy about. It's very nice. I need a distraction. Going to go see Mark play tonight even though the last thing I want to do is go sit in a public place, right now.

Yeah, not the greatest news from the doctor. This has turned out to be a really cruddy summer. I've been waiting for the fall even more than I usually do, mainly because I want this to all be done with.

Tonight Mark isn't playing as he's on a mini-tour, but 2 other guys are playing, one of which is the Irish bartender who is also a singer/songwriter.
