I got my next belt yesterday. I'm now a yellow, but I was unhappy with my test performance, so I have to work really hard. The problem is that work is making that really hard. There's gotta be a way to work around this whole thing, but my schedule is making things really difficult. Driving me insane. Anyhow, so I'm going to work my ass off the next 3 months so that I ace my next exam and get a 90 or higher, damnit. However, I can't go to class today.
Well, I can, but I'm not because I'm shot. I went yesterday, good. I worked until 4am and got to sleep around 5. I work tonight. I just don't have the energy. This was a 50 hour week. I have to check, maybe 58, but I don't remember if I worked on Tuesday. I just don't remember. Plus I worked in my studio 8 hours on my day off. Plus I kept the apartment spotless throughout.
And I promised myself that since I'm skipping training today, I must train myself. So I may go to the school on my own later and train for an hour or so, working forms, kicks, doing pushups, situps, weights, etc. Stretching myself into a full split is my goal for next test, plus a great spinning hook kick, which I think may be the next board break kick. So lots of stretching. Even if I do it at home today, I will work. My promise to myself is to work a few minutes a day, at the minimum. So whilst watching tv, stretch, stretch. Do my form in the morning. Go to the school and practice my kicks by myself if need be.
Meanwhile, I wish the phone would have not kept going off today. I got 4 hours of sleep. Damnit.
