I found myself walking in the rain without an umbrella, again. I really need to stop losing them. I had to nix working in my studio today due to too long at the doctor's. I train at the school tonight, and then I workworkwork. I work a double tomorrow; well, may as well be doubles from now until next Tuesday, really.
I had an appointment with an ear nose and throat specialist to look at my CAT scans. Well, apparently, I can read the films pretty well, because he said exactly what I figured out (after looking at online guides on how to read them) and suggested exactly what I thought he would. I should'a been someone! Or a doctor or something.
The long and short is I get to have nose surgery. Thankfully, they do it intra-nasally, so no black eyes, in and out same day, and back to work in 2-3 days. Basically, they're going to fix my deviated septum, and open up my nasal passages so that my nose actually works. The end result is I can breathe! And less time being ill, less sinus infections, less allergies (much more easily managed), and I can breathe! Will make the strenuous TKD and kickboxing much easier. And breathe!
Years ago you'd have gotten your nose broken, a nose job along with the surgery, a cast, black eyes, swelling, yadda yadda yadda. Now, well, I wouldn't mind the nose-job...
