so.oh.so tired.
between Shana and I we've had 4 trips to the airport in 3 days this week. everyone came back into town and it's pretty insane to all of a sudden have everyone back. picked up Nadim from the airport on saturday night with Shana, Robin and Laura.
we got there a bit early so we decided to run around and collect carts to return (you get a quarter) and pay for parking. we got 5.75 out of those things! which was more than enough for parking. sooo funny. 5.75 in 15 minutes. honestly, I could make more money in a day collecting carts and returning them to their place than I do in my regular boring job! definitely something to think about..
sunday was the final day of the weekend to end breast cancer walk so Ter and I went down to the CNE on our bikes to watch Amy and Devo cross the finish line. it was SUCH perfect weather!! we missed them crossing the finish line but it was so cool to be there. alllll those women working together for something. really an amazing vibe. I was sad to say goodbye to Amy because she's moving to Vancouver on wednesday, but I'm excited for her to have plenty of adventures!
played Ultimate Frizbeeeeeee with the crew for a bit at UofT. and then went and had dinner with Victor.
Victor is the old man I helped out after he had a car accident a few weeks ago. he called me a couple days ago and invited me over for dinner with him and his wife, so I went and it was so fun!! they are honestly the funniest couple ever. I think they're my new best friends. they invited me up to a camp that their son runs. a russian christian camp out is muskoka. I freakin love them!! He told me old war stories and his wife talked about their kids a lot and it was so nice!!
at the same time I'm puzzled though. this is such a crazy coinsidence and such a perfect match that I'm excited to figure out why exactly this man and his wife have come into my life. and why now? what's the purpose? I have no idea, but they're really fun and I plan on hanging out with them often :)
so far, I've never wanted to go back to Uganda as much as I do today.
