A bit late but full of Misha Collins love

The shock of the Supernatural Convention for me was Misha Collins. Sure Castiel was OK, pretty enough and from all reports Misha seemed to be an OK guy SO I was just amazed how impressed I was with him. He appears to really be an intelligent, thoughtful guy, who is not at all pompous and is open about himself and his work.

He and Jared seem to get on remarkably well. Each of them mentioned the other several times during their talks and performed physical comedy repeatedly with each other.
Day 1

• He discussed that lack of pranks on him was because Jared said he was too much of a wuss.
• He mentioned the fact that we were all sitting in a big lecture hall (the little tables were very useful) and said he should discuss Physics. “Woah, physics,” someone screamed.
• He briefly discussed the latest episode in the US, The monster at the end of the book, but shut up when people were saying that it hadn’t shown here yet. It was apparently his favourite episode so far and described it as a “Meta” episode <3
• He said it would be fun to stalk a fan, follow their girlfriend to the shops.
• The character on the show he would most like to play would be Dean, to much applause
• He would most like to work with the Debbie does Dallas director - Heeee - and then someone serious, Oh thats right, the directors of the Matrix.
• He talked about how he would like to do a fight scene but only takes 2 punches to knock him out. “They can stab me, but a punch and I’m down on the floor, an insult would kill him.”
• There was suggestion that it was mythical ponies saving him. They were all on screen but invisible following around Castiel.
• He talked about a little known superpower of Castiel’s was to clean and darn his clothes. However, he said they didn’t run to ironing.
• There was a question on the existence of God in the show. His thought where that it isn’t obvious that God is there. He may have, “killed himself,” after creating such a wussy angel, “Jumped off a cloud.”
• Best quote was that he thought that Hannah Montana would be the best casting for Lucifer.

Day2

• He wanted Castiel's voice, "to sound cool." Different voices ground him to a character.
• Supernatural is about, "a couple of hunky guys, I don't watch this shit." :D and he discussed the show's lack of promotion.
• In Nip and Tuck, which I have not seen, he says that he was so close to his balls that it was like, "looking at a mini mountain range." He lied about doing yoga to get the job and destroyed his back.
• He implied that Jared used plastic surgury to prepare for shirtless scenes (at which point Jared ran in)
• He originally auditioned for a Demon because they didn't want the angel info getting out.
• Dennis Hopper was, "pretty stoned," during a scene in 24.
• He was nervous about the fan reaction but, "what I've got going for me is I'm not female." sigh
• He was keen for a singing and dancing episode and he had thought about it -- ghost would only come out if they were singing, they had to infultrate a production company.
• He was so wonderful candid about a film he had made where he had tapped into hidden violence within himself.
• "I thought I was being creative but it was just in the script, shit."
• About Dean, "will you stop crying, you're embarrassing me."
• He hasn't been pranked even though he hangs out the front of Jensen and Jared's trailers looking confused and naive.
