Jensen Ackles Ponderings

I have been pondering the big questions associated with Supernatural.  I have considered Jared largeness previously but now I’ve moved on to an even more important subject:

I have heard it said that Jensen, when in the possession of stubble, resembles an Ewok.  I have included images to clarify:

There is a similarity.  But it does concern me that ewoks are in fact, fictional characters and I don’t think Jensen is, although my partner does like to dispute this.  I have never seen Jensen in person so I am going to - at this stage - assume that he is real and not some kind of CW publicity stunt.

So a real animal for comparison is required.

I struggled with this issue for some time.  Now the obvious progression would be that an animal that resembles an ewok would resemble Jensen.  Cute fluffy dogs resemble ewoks but not Jensen (images provided for comparison).  The emotional segment of the comparison or the vibe is wrong.

This is when I considered rabbits.  Not those bunnies that lie around people’s homes and scratch the carpet and eat telephone cords but a proper rabbit: a rabbit that lives in the scrub and fears farmers.  So after an extensive search I found the Brush Rabbit (Sylvilagus bachmani).  The brush rabbit is a small shy rabbit with a small territorial range.  They do not cause significant damage to crops but forage very well in the grass and shrubs in their territory.  The males tend to get on well with other males.  It is also very cute (images provided for comparison).

For me, the Brush Rabbit is the fluffy animal that a stubbly Jensen most resembles.

I should add that the stubble is important because Jensen without stubble would surely be an entirely different animal.
