Lainy again! It's 7pm on our first day at Disneyland, and our heads just about have popped from excitement. Expect a gajillion photos when I have time to update this properly tonight!
We left the Hacienda at about 6:45am, after having a quick but awesome breakfast of pancakes and eggs benedict. We hit the airport about ten minutes later, then had to bum around for three quarters of an hour waiting for the bus that would take us to Disneyland. Oh, and it was FREEZING. And raining! So far rather unimpressed with this so called "California Summer"
Anyway, got to Disneyland a bit after 8:30am, checked in, dumped our bags and headed straight for the park. We went through Downtown Disney, which is basically an avenue of super awesome shops and restaurants, before heading into Disneyland itself. We took photos of many, many awesome and gooby things, including ourselves.
However, the time difference and early start took its toll, and by 3pm we were zombies once more. The hotel is not far from the park though, so we headed back for a nanna nap that turned into a four hour snooze. We are currently marshelling our actions, and are headed to the hotel pool, which apparently has a gacuzzi and a 186ft water slide! Thats a big water slide. Interested to see how it fits INSIDE the hotel, which apparently it does.
After swimming, we plan on food, then back to the park for fireworks! Woot!
