I am now officially a NS-Men. Got my pink IC back. surprisingly, i don't fill excited nor happy. It's just like any oridnary day. I did not have some major celebration. In fact, this excitement was at its peak abt 1 mth before. But after that it just died down. I guess it is the fact that now i am thrown into the society and have to find a job to support myself. All these new things coming in just caused the excitement to die down.
2 yrs. Can still remember the feeling 2 years back when i first stepped into tekong. Dreading the upcoming BMT (in fact, BMT is one of the most fun period). I missed my bunk mates. Though irritating at times, they did bring lots of fun to training. I guess it the camaraderie among us that brought us through the training. Sad that i am only keeping in touch with a few of them. Miss all the stupid talk cock sessions we had. Then after BMT, posted to SMM. The most enjoyable period. not only training was slack, but i made really great friends there. We call ourselves the 'cockster' gang. Talk cock together during lectures, during lunch breaks, playing mahjong discretely and of course all our K-sessions. Then got posted to ITI. doing lots of crap shit down there, taking up responsibilities that weren't mine. Working my ass off to clear datelines. The only gd thing i would say is learning lots of things. I learnt really, how to organise things (really, many things were done from scratch after i took over). now leaving that place, seeing how it grew from a fu*ked up place to a now organise one, i am happy to have done my part for the centre. and of course the friends i have made there, even though we would be pushing around all the covers and weekend duties, and of course gloating at the fact that some guys kena extra. In fact, i sometimes do miss the times where we were all working our ass off and cursing at some fu*ked up ppl.
Now i have moved on to the phase of my life, I am at the same time excited and worried. Ok, shall see how life goes.
