we're going to get married.
that's right. married. full and legal. we've decided to get married on our fifth anniversary, september 1st. nothing fancy. and when i say that i mean it. a longtime close friend of raquel is certified to perform weddings so it will be him, raquel and i, and our dearest friend stacey as our witness. that's it.
for now anyway. we've talked about having a big get-down-and-party wedding later down the line, but for now, we just want to commit ourselves to each other in the most concrete fashion there is, and take part in an historic time period. whatever happens with the november ballot initiative, we will have been legally married for at least a moment in time. we can tell the next generation that we took part in the marriage movement.
