How they met

She was holding onto an up-high bar near the front of the train. As he boarded and found room to stand, he reached for the bar--only to find the bar was discontinued for a segment right where he was. He recovered quickly, grabbing the air where the bar should be, as if in protest. She laughed. He moved to a spot right next to her, sharing her bar.
She smiled at him; he started a conversation. She tugged at her necklace a little self-consciously, hitching the pendant up on her collar. He gently lifted the pendant to drop it into place. Contact!
The train lurched ever so slightly, and she caught herself--by clutching his arm. Awww.
Their eyes stayed riveted on each other. They were still talking when I reached my stop.
I wonder what happened next. Did he ask for her number? Did they even get each other's names?
