Rec and a meltdown, two bits.

Ugh, it got very icy out today, and while the roads were OK, the parking lots and our driveway was a skating rink. I hate ice so much. I'd rather have two feet of snow than ice.

On the up side, we had a nice weekend getting together with friends, which helped to mitigate some of the stress we've been feeling this Christmas season. (Let's just say I really would love to be rich enough to have my own personal massage therapist on call right about now.) Now I am sacked out on the couch and not at all ready to watch the penultimate episode of Merlin. I've been wearing the lovely Merlin charm bracelet made by maverick4oz the last couple of days. IT IS POSSIBLE I AM IN DENIAL. The extremely thoughtful expectprism got me a sock monkey blanket for Christmas (seriously, how cool is that?) and I will be curled up under it for these last two eps. THE SOCK MONKEY WILL MAKE IT ALL BETTER.

BUT ANYWAY. Have a lovely gem of a Lewis story to enjoy, if you haven't already: The End of All Our Exploring is absolutely brilliant, and will make you feel all warm and fuzzy with love for these two. :) I have a suspicion that I recognize the author's style, but since I'm generally pants at guessing who wrote what I'm going to refrain from saying it publicly.

And also of the happy, have an adorable Cabin Pressure ad. Is that this Friday? I didn't think it was airing until the New Year! Not that I'm complaining, mind you. :)

And finally, have an incredibly cute artwork of Jeeves and Wooster under the mistletoe.
