random loose ends
Last night we ended up at the Way Out club seeing the band Jamie put together, Bug. They weren't too bad, but the opening acts sucked. regardless it was really good to see live music, something i haven't made time for at all lately. I ran in to my friend Ellie there, who I worked with this summer at Laumeier, she's in grad school at Pratt, which just amazes me so much. AS much as I don't want to start waking up early, It'll be good to get back in to painting and making art. Instead of writing this and wasting time on the computer i should really be sleeping. class starts tommorow and i have an 8:00 drawing II, i just don't know where the time went this break...
I've decided to be good to myself and only work 3 days a week this semester, because anything more will just burn me out. And i'm going to columbia friday to see Ani, which shall be a good mellow time I hope.
After much debate and talk of possibly getting studio space from bill christman, i came to the sad realization that 1) i really don't have money for it (because i should be putting it away for europe) and 2) it would only be 3 months, then i'll be gone this summer, and next year i should have a studio at webster, so i think i'll be able to manage the rest of the year without a studio, although i think i'll ring something up because i'm itching to start some sewing projects...
