only two, just me and you
Lately:
1: fine arts just ended this weekend. the whole week i have been living off of arby's chicken and running to the church every night for extra practices and friday and saturday night were finally the big days. i was in: large group drama, large vocal ensemble, and worship team. i accompanied clifford that was on handbells and i played piano. he actually got first in state for his percussion solo! we did so good! danny got 2nd place for solo songwriting. we got first place in all the human video categories. so, i could go to nationals with clifford, but i don't think i will. i honestly don't want to raise a ton of money for only one category, and it not even be mine. so yeah. worship band did so good though! we didn't make it because the judges didn't have good things to say about the vocals. but they never said anything negative about the band so, like i told chris and danny "our band rocks!"
2: jazz band is officially over. we had our concert thursday night. i went ok i guess. i was more distracted cause my mom showed up late and missed the whole set i played. i was mad and upset...for a long time. jazz 1 auditions are tomorrow. vento said i already had a place in it, but i still have to audition. it kinda sucks cause i was gone the whole weeked, but ya know. i'll get it done.
3: choir is doing a bunch of stuff. contest is wednesday morning, and my jazz choir audition is the 15th. we're doing old devil moon for the audition which is awesome cause that's the song i did for jazz all-state. so i already know it. i kinda wish they would let us pick our own song because there are so many good ones, but i already know old devil moon. i feel pretty good about the contest that we have wednesday morning. we've gotten really good at sight reading, and the songs are really coming along. i've been made the altos section leader, unofficially, but i always lead whatever we are doing. i'm so glad i'm in choir this year. you have no idea.
4: we leave for our cruise in less than two weeks. i'm super excited. i've been tanning everyday , and i'm back on the gay diet again. anyways, it'll be alot of fun. i'm going to miss alot at school, we have some of the EOI tests while i'm gone, but i guess i'll have to make them up.
