oo2 - Of Emotional Trama and Graveyards

Graveyard shift has taken over my Fridays. Between getting enough sleep to stay up all night and getting rid of headaches, I really haven't had much time to do anything else. Working all night isn't as bad as some people make it seem - but I'm also not working back-to-back all-nighters, so I really can't say much. It does give me the chance to catch up on homework and just dally around on the internet, and is totally worth the internal clock mess-up. I really don't have to work much either; I record the stats on the electric gear and the AC units once every 4 hours, and check up on some back-up tapes once every so often, and other then that, I'm basically free (unless, of course, someone asks me to so a different task as well). And they pay me well, which is always a bonus :).

I marathoned two anime series while on Fall break this week: Persona: Trinity Soul and Code Geass R2. Both were amazing series plot-wise, character-wise, and digitally. I finished Persona first, mainly because I was waiting for the entire season of Code Geass to download onto my computer. I will say that I was (and still am) confused about quite a bit of what happened in the show, but the ending was so sad, that I started sobbing before it was over. I don't usually cry in shows either; I'm just the type that sits there and feels their heart compress in on itself due to the sheer amount of emotion that is in the show. That night, Code Geass finished downloading, so I was able to invite my friends over for the next 3 days so that we could watch it together. At the end of that series, I was suprised that I didn't have a heart attack because of how sad it was. I cried during the end of that series as well, and both of them had such sad but hopeful endings that I'm thinking that I now need emotional counseling. They were wonderful, and I highly recommend both series (including the 1st season of Code Geass, of course) to anyone. And OH GOD; the music in the most emotionally charged parts of Code Geass just completely breaks my heart.
