So, it turned out that Chloe had a bad cold or flu, but the liquids really helped and she was able to come home 24 hours later. Also, since it was easier to take care of her than they thought, I got reimbursed about $400. So it was still expensive, but I was lucky to get some money back and a healthy kitty back. Somehow, I escaped the snow in Seattle and got to Dallas on time. My flight didn't even have a delay. I feel incredibly lucky and grateful to have made it here, and I've had a lovely Christmas with the extended family. Things have gone smoothly.
