Music from Taipei: building demolition

Jun 09, 2016 13:02

When an excavator blasts a building apart in a crowded part of Taipei where thousands of workers are straining their brains at office desks, it sends us all staccato soundwaves at high decibel levels. One excavator has done that in my neighborhood since May 16 to demolish a four-story building.
Possible recourses:
1. Complain to cops.
2. Ask the earthmover crews to quiet down.
3. Demand compensation for lost productivity.
4. Blow the earthmover up.
5. Listen to the noise.
Yup, you guessed it.
