Impressive...but not really
Yea its slick. Smaller than a pack of gum. U can wear it round ur neck or around ur arm. Light as a feather. Clean lines. Click wheel. Cool. It amazes me how the ppl at apple package a flash memory. Its just a flash memory. Nothing new. When it first came out I'm like wow, cool. But it just didnt felt right. I just couldn't articulate it. It seemed to me it was just pre-historic technology wrapped up nicely. No LCD screens, no FM radio. A flash memory MP3 player this size coming out of China has more functions (1GB, LCD screen + blue ah beng back lights, FM radio and voice recorder ) than what Apple dished out. Its just wrong. The iPod shuffle is just a very pretty face.
If this takes off which I think it will, its not because of Apple's innovation but because of it package, branding and design. But I wouldn't mind getting it just cos it pretty.
