My boyfriend came over the other day after his baseball game, and was starving!!!!! I made this as his winning meal because he scored the winning run! I was so proud ! ^^

There was alot of food this day and he was very very full after 2 refills of all this! lol.

First was fried noodles, made mostly of lil odds and ends that was in my fridge.

1. Fried noodles ( pork belly, cabbage, bean sprouts, green peppers, carrots, caramelized onions, green onions, udon, sou sauce, and hoisin sauce)

2. Fried Chinese greens in sauce and white sesame seeds

3. Beef Stew with potatoes, carrots, caramelized onions, and green onions, stewed in soy sauce, and sugar) I tried to make a classic Japanese home cook recipe Nikujaga but substituted traditional pork for beef because I had some in my freezer

4. Mushroom rice with enoki and shitaki (steamed) This was an experimental dish for me. It was steamed in the regular rice steamer and after putting in the appropriate amount of water I removed 10tbs of water and replaced it with equal amounts of soy sauce, in the end most of the saltiness from the soy dissappeared because I made rice for 3 servings, in the end I added salt. The mushrooms gave the dish a slight earthy background which was subtle but tasty. A new way to sneak in more veggies!
